During 18th – 26st February 2026, the Center of Agricultural Information, in collaboration with the Land Development Department (LDD), Division of Land Use Policy and Planning, conducted a field survey for Longan 2026 under the project “Enhancing Agricultural Information and Big Data Management Efficiency.” The activity focused on the “Application of Geo-Informatics Technology to Enhance Agricultural Production Forecasting” to improve the integration of agricultural commodity data.

Dr. Krit Iemthanon (Ph.D.), Director of the Center for Agricultural Information, assigned the Production Cost and Price Information Division to conduct fieldwork for collecting production cost data on Garlic for the 2025/26 crop year and Oil Palm year 2025 The survey was conducted during 16 – 28 February 2026.

Center for Agricultural Information collaborate with the Land Use Policy and Planning Division of the Land Development Department, conducted a field survey on longan production for the 2026 production year. The survey was carried out under the project on Enhancing the Efficiency of Agricultural Information Development and Big Data Management, specifically within the activity on the application of geospatial technology to improve the efficiency of agricultural yield forecasting. The field survey occurs between 16 -28 February 2026.

The Office of Agricultural Economics Region 6 and the Agricultural Information Center jointly integrated efforts with the Office of Agricultural Extension and Development Region 3 to conduct a field test of the guidelines and procedures for surveying durian yield per rai using the Crop Cutting method in combination with farm accounting in Chanthaburi Province.

Dr. Krit Iamthanont, Director of the Centre for Agricultural Information assigned officers from the Horticultural Crop Production Information Division, led by Mr.Chumpol Nudang Statistics Technician, Experienced Level and Ms.Lampung Pethleam Plan and Policy Analyst to conduct field operations to monitor the Production situation of Mangosteen for the 2026 crop year in Nakhon Si Thamarat and Phatthalung Provinces between 9 -15 February,2026.

Dr. Krit Iamthanon, Director of the Agricultural Information Center, assigned the Agricultural Data Forecasting Division to conduct a field survey on the production status of Pattawia pineapples and mature coconuts in 2026. The survey was conducted in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi, and Ratchaburi provinces. Between February 9-14, 2026.
